    Build-Your-Own-Trifle

    Keep your cool and let guests make their own dessert from cake, pudding, fruit and whipped cream set up on the buffet table.

    Servings 8

    Ingredients
      

    • One loaf/pound cake chocolate, lemon, vanilla or angel food cake, cut into cubes
    • 3 cups fresh fruit or fruit compote raspberries, blueberries, cut-up strawberries
    • 2 cups ready-made pudding chocolate, lemon, vanilla
    • Fresh whipped cream or whipped topping

    Instructions
     

    • Set up a build-your-own trifle bar with plates of cake cubes, bowls of berries, pudding and whipped cream.
    • Allow guests to build their own individual trifles (in mini glass trifle dishes, stemmed wine glasses or dessert bowls) by choosing their cake, berry and pudding, along with whipped cream.
