Each Spring, CMS Electric Cooperative employees visit elementary schools in the area to conduct electrical safety demonstrations, coinciding with the study of electricity in schools.

Students learn through table top demonstrations and live electrical connections the basics of electricity and how electricity travels. Tips are given on how to avoid coming into contact with overhead and underground electrical lines and the importance of reporting exposed and downed power lines to the cooperative for repair.
The demonstration is free and available to any group in our service area. Please contact our office for more information at 800-794-2353 and speak with Kent Davis or Michael Bushnell for more details.
