    Fruited Honey

You may get your nose stuck in the honey jar if it is also filled with fruit, perfect as an ice cream or cake topper or mixed into yogurt or hot cereal. This also makes a great hostess gift. Dried fruits can be used as well.

    Ingredients

    • Honey
    • Your Favorite Fruits

    Instructions

    • Wash the fruit — whole strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, huckleberries, sliced peaches, apricots, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, apples, pears, bananas, grapefruit and orange slices with shredded coconut, or a combination of fruit and berries — and fill a clean jar. Use a jar with a tight cover for each kind of fruited honey. Pour honey over it to the top of the jar.
    • Cap it and turn it upside down a few times immediately, and then whenever you think of it during the rest of the day and the next morning.
    • These will keep several weeks in the refrigerator.
    • They can be eaten with a piece of plain cake or a cookie.
