Alysson Foos is the daughter of Bryan and Jennifer Foos of Ness City. She graduated from Ness City High School in May of 2019 and attended her first year at Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS. Alysson is very involved at Tabor College, participating in Presidential Leadership, volunteering at Mainstreet Ministries, part of Cheer, Share Prayer & Dare, Navigators, and Science Club. While attending Ness City High School, she received several academic awards including the Kansas Governor’s Scholar, was the class valedictorian, and received several other academic awards. She participated in leadership groups, was involved in multiple sports, scholar’s bowl, 4-H, cheer, and speech & drama. Her educational goals are to graduate with a double major in social work and psychology from Tabor College. Afterward attend graduate school to obtain her master’s in social work.
Nate Gabel is the son of Jolene and Jeff Gabel of Ness City. He graduated from Ness City High School this past spring. Nate was a four-year honor roll student at Ness City High School, participating in football, track, and boys club. He was also involved with CYO & NCYC. Nate plans on attending the Rocky Mountain Line Technician (RMLT) program through Trinidad State in Colorado Springs. While attending RMLT, he will learn to build, repair, and maintain electrical distribution systems. The program includes safety and overall electrical system operations, including electrical distribution, basic electrical theory, overhead and underground operations and maintenance.
