Pinto Beans with Bacon
- 1 16- oz. can pinto beans drained
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 2 slices bacon diced
- 1 Tbs. adobo sauce from canned chipotle chiles Optional
- 2 green onions sliced
- In small saucepan, heat chicken broth with diced bacon gently to render some of the bacon fat, about 5 minutes. Stir in pinto beans and adobo sauce, if using, and heat through gently about 10 minutes. Garnish with green onions to serve.
