    Join us in Downtown El Dorado for our annual Holiday Spectacular! Events will be hosted around the Downtown District, starting with Thankful Thursday on Dec. 1 and ending with the first-ever Holiday House Tour, a fundraiser supporting El Dorado Main Street!

    Schedule of Events

    Thankful Thursday, Dec. 1

    • Free Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, 4-7 p.m. — Corner of Gordy and West Central
    • Encore & Excite Choir Performances, 6 p.m. — Coutts Museum of Art

    Friday, Dec. 2

    • Remembrance Tree Ceremony, 5:30 p.m. — Inside District 142 Building, bring an ornament to honor a loved one

    Saturday, Dec. 3

    • Kansas Oil Museum, 1-3 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. — Santa in Boomtown, Santa Bowl Chili Cook-Off Competition & Community Chili Feed
    • Coutts Museum of Art Exhibit Opening, 1-3 p.m. — an exhibit featuring Jim Clements, and An Exhibit in Miniatures
    • Meet Santa & Mrs. Claus at “Santa Central,” 3-4:45 p.m. — Photo Op & Cookies at Charley’s Appliance
    • Christmas Parade, 5:30pm – Starts at 4th & Main, travels south to Ash & Main
    • Tree Lighting at Butler County Courthouse, 6:15 p.m. — Live music featuring the Treble Makers,
      Candy Cane give-away, Photos with Santa

    Sunday, Dec. 4

    • Holiday House Tour, 1-8 p.m. — Support El Dorado Main Street by purchasing tickets to tour four decorated homes.
